Changzhou First People's Hospital

Changzhou First People's Hospital relies on two drivers to move operations management from volume-driven to precision management: operations assistants assigned to defined clusters of clinical specialties, and an AI operations management system.

On one side, the hospital established its model of clinical specialty operations assistants, building the team through a "1+1+1" specialty operations group structure and a five-step path. This removes the barriers between administrative and clinical departments and closes the loop on the problems that are raised. On the other side, working with Zhipu AI and others, it built an "AI operations brain" with a three-part architecture of capability layer, knowledge layer and logic layer. On this basis it developed a visual operations dashboard, a unified physician workstation and a benchmarking module, and created an integrated RBRVS + DRG performance system.

The hospital is a general Grade III Class A (tertiary) hospital combining clinical care, education and research.
