Palline Invited to the InLotuX Summit 2026 Macau Sci‑Tech Innovation Greater Bay Area Healthcare Forum
Panel discussion on "Greater Bay Area Healthcare in Macau: Closing the Last Mile on Settings, Talent and Policy"
On 30 June 2026, the inauguration ceremony of the Macau International Science and Technology Industry Centre and the 2026 Macau Science and Innovation InLotuX Summit were held at the Macau Tower Convention and Entertainment Centre. The Chief Executive of the Macau Special Administrative Region, Sam Hou Fai; the Director of the Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in the Macau Special Administrative Region, Zheng Xincong; the Secretary for Economy and Finance, Hoi Wai In; the Academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and President of the Macao Industrial Technology Research Institute, Liu Ming; the Director of the Macau International Science and Technology Industry Centre, U Seng Pan; and the Member of the Legislative Assembly and Chair of the Supervisory Board of the Macao Industrial Technology Research Institute, Chau Ka Chon, jointly inaugurated the Centre. The event marked a significant step in advancing the development of high-technology industries in Macau, aligning with the national 15th Five-Year Plan and deepening regional collaboration.
In parallel, the Summit forum on Opportunities and Collaboration for Major Health Technology Companies in Macau was convened. Wang Zhigang, founder and general manager of Shanghai Penghai Laixun Data Technology Co., Ltd., was invited to the panel discussion titled 'Macau Major Health: Bridging the Last Mile of Scenarios, Talent and Policy', where he exchanged industry perspectives with senior healthcare experts.
Macau has distinctive institutional strengths, and the Guangdong-Macao In-Depth Cooperation Zone in Hengqin provides a policy innovation testing ground for enterprises. Centred on the real-world needs of hospital management, patient care and health insurance payment, established solutions in operational management, payment reform and industry co-development will be trialled in Macau and Hengqin, with the major health industry ecosystem using Macau as a fulcrum to extend into Portuguese-speaking markets.
Backed by the comprehensive medical industry chain of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, Macau is at the frontline of meeting the broad healthcare cooperation needs of Portuguese-speaking countries, supporting a two-way industrial collaboration framework.
Palline will continue to engage closely with the Macau Special Administrative Region Government on application scenarios and resources, strengthen collaboration with industry partners in the Greater Bay Area, and consistently deliver advanced hospital operational management systems, tools and methodologies, providing partner medical institutions with higher-quality software and services.
