Hospital operations data center

A data foundation that integrates hospital business systems and supplies real-time, accurate, standardized data.

The hospital operations data center uses a high-availability architecture together with Palline's own ESB service bus to integrate data from HIS, LIS, PACS, health checkup, electronic medical record, medical records, and other hospital systems, supplying real-time, accurate, and standardized data. It helps hospitals connect and share operations data across the organization, strengthens data coordination and the integration of business management with operations management, and improves information sharing and coordination between institutions in hospital groups, medical alliances, and county-level medical consortia.

Core capabilities

  • Data integration and governance: business system data is annotated at the atomic level and converted into a data lake or ODS, then integrated into the data warehouse layer to provide quantified data support for operations management.
  • Integrated lakehouse data governance: on the lake side, stream processing, batch processing, and interface data processing; on the warehouse side, master index, master data management, knowledge graphs, and asset management, together with cleansing, parsing, NLP-based structuring, standardization, mapping, transformation, encryption and decryption, and de-identification.
  • Data quality control and metadata: quality control for completeness, consistency, accuracy, conformity, and uniqueness, with a quality rule library; metadata collection, meta-models, metadata management, metadata analysis, and metadata maintenance.
  • Platform functions: dataset management, data element management, value domain management, data quality validation, knowledge base, visualization, XML preparation and validation, service invocation, module management, service management, structure management, and data preview.

Product strengths

  • A high-availability architecture using an active-active design rather than simple clustering, for high stability and reliability.
  • An independently developed enterprise-grade ESB service bus that coordinates operation across application servers, with high extensibility and flexibility.
  • Cloud-native foundations (microservices, containerization, Kubernetes) with ready-to-use technical components and products.
  • A closed "integrate - govern - model - serve" data management loop that supports management decisions.
  • Data applications meet domestic IT requirements, supporting a range of domestic servers, operating systems, and databases.
