Shandong Ji'ning No.1 People's Hospital

Shandong Ji'ning No.1 People's Hospital is a century-old hospital in Shandong Province. Guided by an approach of hospital-wide quality management, it has systematically built a "1231" total quality management system and created a smart hospital operations command center on its information systems. At the same time it has advanced the clustering of specialties, improvements to patient services and the development of a closely integrated urban medical group.

To raise the level of precision management and motivate medical staff, the hospital has carried out performance reform in recent years. It established a performance management system based on RBRVS and DRGs that gives equal weight to cost and quality management, with clear results in efficiency, motivation and revenue structure.

The hospital is a municipal general Grade III Class A (tertiary) hospital and one of the first group of Grade III Class A hospitals in China. It has three campuses: the main campus, the east campus and the west campus.
